Renovations and Additions
We find a home, we fall in love, and sometimes we decide that a place we are going to stay for a long time should be enhanced. A renovation and addition can be a solution to staying in your home, if you're feeling well-rooted.

Below are some photos of projects that are either reno, addition, or both. Additionally, read our blog post about doing additions to find out more about anticipating costs.
Sunrooms
Bringing light into a colonial home can be the improvement you need to make your home feel like the place to be in all seasons. This featured sunroom addition celebrates rough sawn beams, reclaimed barnwood floors, and a new open space for thriving plants. A concealed TV behind barn sliders makes this room versatile as a media room or a place for conversation.
Midcentury Update
This midcentury project in Amherst was in need of some plant interior design. We upgraded what was a cold masonry wall with a drip irrigation system for an interior network of living vines to serve as a living backdrop to the family room.
Ipswich Bungalow
A classic New England colonial with low head room is transformed into a deceivingly spacious bungalow. See our full project description here.
Garage Renovation
Existing garage in Newbury to be transformed into an additional dwelling unit, as well as gain 12 vertical feet in the garage to be able to jack up and work on cars.

Classic neo-colonial styling, with balanced dormers and a cupola for daylight and ventilation.
Wave House
The original wave house addition planned for Gloucester. This ocean view home had a menagerie of architectural detailing to draw from. One such elements was a wave like feature on the third floor. With the ocean cracking against the nearby rocks, we decided to embrace the effect as the lead place to draw inspiration. Wave dormers maximize headroom and provide nice acoustics.
Brick Cape Style Home into Palatial Open Concept Flex Space
Small brick cape style home in Ipswich that was in need of more space. We designed an addition to project off the back of this house on a narrow lot. New space to create was a primary suite, a garage, and a tall flex room that would have a special office balcony. The original building was comprised of spaces that felt compressed. The double height flex room offered relief from those cozier nooks.
